Verse of the Day: Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV

You can't trust God with all your heart while leaning on your own understanding.

You can't surrender the path while forcing the vehicle to go your way.

You can't say "God, I trust You to order my steps" and then spend every waking moment rearranging the route because His direction doesn't make immediate sense to you.

That’s not how trust works.

  • Trust means you do the work.

  • Lean not on your own understanding means you release the outcome.

  • Acknowledge Him in all your ways means you invite Him into every decision, every pivot, every adjustment.

  • He shall direct your paths means He takes responsibility for where you end up.

We saw this with God Establishes Covenant First with Abraham. God declared the promise clearly. He defined the relationship. He made His intention known; He required agreement. Then Abraham built.

Do your part and trust God to do the rest.

That's alignment.

Yvette
