Verse of the Day: Luke 2:11

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Luke 2:11 KJV

This is the announcement God made from heaven to earth.

He did not speak to kings in palaces where the focus would be on the applause of men.

He spoke to the shepherds in the field, under the cover of darkness, where His light would be revealed.

Unto you is personal and intentional; full of the grace we do not deserve. And yet, He gave us the gift of Jesus Christ…A Savior is born.

It’s as though God is saying the time has arrived, finally.

For Christian women building businesses, families, ministries, and legacies—this verse reminds us that God works on purpose and in His time.

Jesus was born quietly, yet His arrival changed everything.

This week, we pause to remember what Christmas means:

  1. Jesus Christ’s birth means God stepped into the world that He loves.

  2. God kept His word, and that’s faithfulness we can build our lives and businesses upon. Do the same, keep your word.

  3. Hope entered the world wrapped in humility and love. It’s a sign to us that true impact does not require applause to be powerful.

Throughout this week, we’ll return to this Scripture as a foundation—exploring what it teaches us about purpose, obedience, and building with God at the center.

Let this verse carry you through the week. Remembering that Jesus came into this sinful world to redeem us back to God. A Savior is born.

When you feel rushed and out of sorts this week—whether in life, leadership, or business—return to this word. He came personally for you. Rejoice in it because Emmanuel (God with us) is no longer just promised.

He is here.

Glory to God in the highest.

Be blessed.
Yvette
