Verse of the Day: Matthew 1:23
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Matthew 1:23 KJV
Come, let us adore Him.
Emmanuel or Immanuel.
Whether spoken from the Greek or the Hebrew, the meaning remains the same: God is with us.
He’s with us in joy, sorrow, peace, or in the middle of a trial. God is with us when the answers are clear and when faith is all we have left.
We offer Him a sacrifice of praise, even when everything is not perfect, because He is present, always.
I’m thankful that we’re never alone when we receive God’s greatest gift, Jesus Christ.
And today, I pause to thank God for Mary’s yes. One surrendered, yes, that changed the world.
God, we love You.
Thank You for being Emmanuel…God with us.
If you need a moment of worship today, here’s my favorite rendition of Emmanuel by Bishop Norman Hutchins. I encourage you to listen. (I do not own the rights to this song.)
Be blessed.

'Dear God, It's Me...I'm Your Daughter. Where's My Victory?' 30 letters and whispered prayers to move you through the seasons to your place of victory. Most likely, you will cry. Those tears will help move you toward the freedom that you’ll experience from your honest communication with God, if you allow them to.
