Verse of the Day: Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13 NKJV
When I started looking at the scripture for today, my thoughts were on the possibilities when we believe.
But the fact that we can do anything is stuck in my head and heart. The key is through Christ who strengthens us.
Choosing to build and do the things that God has ordained for us is admirable. Trying to do big and monumental work under our strength is asking for trouble.
We all face some type of difficulty or “situation” that will threaten to be our undoing. But we get to trust in the Lord. Our abilities only take us so far. With Jesus Christ, that’s a recipe for the better outcome.
Paul experienced more troubles than we can recall. Yet, he continued to trust the one who brought him out of them all. He endured hardships that would make some of us want to quit.
Instead, Paul did what we need to do.
The best thing we can do is lean not to our own understanding. Trust in God. And remember that we can do all the things through Christ who gives us strength that we didn’t know we needed.
