Verse of the Day: Psalm 27: 13-14

13: I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. 14: Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!

Psalm 27:13-14 NKJV

David shares that he would have lost hope, but he didn’t. And that’s because he believed that he would see the goodness of God in this world where he lived.

My heart holds peace when I think about God’s goodness extended in this earth. I see opportunities where many people are speaking negativity.

I see God answering prayers on one hand, while on the other hand, we’re still dealing with hurts, pains, and waiting.

The question could be asked, how do you keep going when everything seems hard and impossible? What do you do when situations don’t work out the way you expect or need it to?

Turning to scripture, it becomes easier. Because I believe God’s word is true and truth for today.

Our situations may “appear” differently than past generations.

However, the solution is the same. Our God will supply all our needs. He is our provider. He will never leave us nor drop us (nor forsake us).

When we believe God’s word, we can wait. We can be encouraged (be of good courage). We can hold on a little while longer because our God will come through.

That’s what HOPE looks like.

Do you believe God’s word is true? Can you hold on to His promises, trusting that it will happen?

Even though situations still exist.

If you will open your eyes and your heart, you will see the goodness of the Lord all around you.

I believe it.

Be Blessed!
